Porizen CC wins the team and individual competitions at the National Golf Course Interscholastic Team Championship

 Forizon Country Club (Director Seok Lee), located in Suncheon, Jeollanam-do, won its first championship in the ‘53rd National Golf Course Interscholastic Team Championship’ in which players representing golf courses of member companies of the Korea Golf Association (KGA) participated. 안전놀이터

Forizon, consisting of Jong-seon Park, Young-chan Lee, Hyun-jin Lee, and Byeong-taek Jeon, tied for the lead with New Korea Country Club, the winner of the previous competition, on the first day of the competition held at Illite Golf & Resort in Yeongdong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do on the 19th.

In the final match held on the 20th, Forizon won the championship trophy thanks to Jeon Byeong-taek’s performance. Second place in the team competition went to Illite Golf & Resort, and third place went to Hwasun Country Club.

Forizon’s Jeon Byeong-taek recorded a final score of 4 under par and took the top spot in the individual competition. Second place in the individual competition was Park Jun-cheol of Suwon Country Club, and third place was Jeong Hwan of New Korea Country Club. 

In this tournament, 84 representative players from 21 golf courses among the members of the Korea Golf Association participated.
